Organised in 2000 out of a need to expand the cultural education of young people in schools was first called upon in Portsmouth, Hampshire area.
K.K.Caribbean Arts act primarily as an umbrella under which any activity of a Caribbean nature could be sought after and had. For example, K.K.C.A offers to schools, organisations, churches, establishments, groups etc any type of activity/workshop ranging from Caribbean storytelling, poetry, dance, drumming, steel pan, food, parties, Dj's; to Cultural awareness workshops (facilitating as well as educational sessions in schools utilising the various forms described above)
